FORTNITE UNPLUGGED!
It will be Epic!
You are the only hope! You must launch the plane into Tomato Town, pick up the chug jugs and move them to the treasure chests, and knock the Llama in the Tilted Towers! Collect as many points as you can to win the Battle Royale!
THE CHALLENGES ARE:
  1. Launch the plane to land in Tomato Town.
  2. Deliver the chug jugs to their matching treasure chests and land in Salty Springs.
  3. Navigate through Tilted Towers to knock the llama off the pedestal.
General Rules of the Game
  1. The objective of FORTNITE UNPLUGGED is to complete as many missions as possible in two separate 3-minute time periods to accumulate the most points.
  2. Challenges completed in the first 3-minute period may be completed again in hopes of improving their score.
  3. Teams are encouraged to come with their robot built and programs ready. Teams may make any changes to the design or program at the competition but should not expect to have the time to begin building or programming on that day.
  4. All robots will begin the challenge within the LARDS (LEGO Autonomous Robot Docking Station) zone.
  5. Robots may only be handled in the LARDS zone.
  6. Teams may make any modifications they wish to their robot, without penalty, between Trial 1 and Trial 2 allocated times.
  7. Teams may reset the challenge at any point but will not be refunded the time already spent. If the team resets a challenge, all points awarded or penalized will also be reset.
  8. During registration on the day of the competition, teams will randomly select a LEGO block with a number on it. This number indicates the order in which teams will be competing. This number block represents the hero who will be responsible for “piloting” the robot through the completion of the mission.

Specs for the Competition:
  • Each team is limited to using only Lego parts- no additional equipment will be allowed (e.g., wood materials, glue or other materials that would enhance the structure, performance or appearance of the robot)
  • Your robot must fit entirely within the “LARDS” (Lego Autonomous Robot Docking Station) space when viewed from above
  • There will be 2 fields for teams to prepare
  • Each team is required to have its own kits, transmitters, software, computer, extra batteries, charging cord, and at least one power bar/extension cord
  • The robot must be able to operate without any input from the students. Remote control devices are not allowed
*NOTE: In the event of an unclear interpretation of a rule, the coordinator’s decision is final.
